Busse Woods, Salt Creek, and Schaumburg

Last Saturday, September 10th, Prof. Mike Bryson’s SUST 220 Water class took their initial field trip to the Busse Woods Forest Preserve, where they sampled the water quality of Salt Creek and Busse Lake. Read about their trip and find out what they discovered here about the relationship between Schaumburg’s land use and the hydro-ecology of the preserve and the upper Salt Creek watershed.
